Kiss Lash Couture Faux Mink Collection Review

In this post, I’m going to be reviewing one of the newest lash additions from Kiss Cosmetics.

Now, I love lashes but applying them is such a struggle for me. I just can’t get it right.

I am so pleased that these lashes were very easy to apply and overall, I’m quite happy with the way they look. If I could have done anything differently, I would have trimmed them a little bit because they are a bit long but I don’t mind.

So, these lashes have a mink effect design. Mink lashes are free from processing and they are favoured by lash enthusiasts because of the soft, comfortable and natural look they give.

On the packaging, there are some claims about this product. So I’m going to share each claim with you all and give my opinion:

Knot free lash band – The lash band is medium sized so if you are thinking about purchasing these lashes, don’t apply a lot of glue to the lash. A small amount is perfectly fine. I’d say just ensure that you hold the lash until the adhesive dries completely. I used the Kiss Strip Lash Adhesive. It contains biotin and a blueberry extract and its latex free too.

Weightless volume and curl – As with all lashes when they are applied, it took a bit of time to adjust to the size. They did feel heavy at first but after a few seconds, I had even forgot that I had them on. As far as volume is concerned, if you don’t like the heavy look, trim them before you apply them. I really like the curl of these lashes though – they have a very glamorous look and feel.

Soft and seamless – I agree with the brand’s claim that the lashes are soft and seamless. You know with some lashes, by the time you apply them, five hairs have fallen out already and the band seems really weak but that has not been the case with these lashes. I’m very impressed with the quality.

Reuseable – On the packaging, it is claimed that you can reuse the lashes up to ten times with special care. I’ve only used them twice so far. All you need to do is ensure you remove the glue residue (using your fingers) and rinse them with water afterwards.

Pros – good value for money, lashes are easy to apply, knot free, weightless feel, good amount of volume

Cons – lashes may need to be trimmed (if necessary), adhesive sold separately (Lash Couture collection)

The Kiss Lash Couture Faux Mink Collection is now available in Superdrug and all lashes are priced at £7.99. Click here to check out the collection – I’d love to know which ones are your favourite.

Do drop your thoughts and comments below. I always like to hear what you all think of my product reviews.

  1. Love your makeup look. The lashes and your lipstick, super pretty!! 💗💛I actually haven’t ever put on falsies cause it kind of freaks me out a little 😂, but I’m glad to hear these are easy to apply!! Might have to check them out!!

  2. The first Kiss lash I tried is from the Boudoir line. I must say they have created a few good ones that I’m going to try. To prevent infection you may need to clean them with alcohol. You’ll get a longer wear without mascara or shadows. Nice blog post. Keep it up!
