Reasons You Need To Visit Chez Maiss

May. 17, 2019

Last month, I was invited to the launch of Chez Maiss. This new eatery is the brainchild of siblings Maiss and Rebal Zghaybe. Both newcomers to the restaurant scene, this welcoming and vibrant offering is situated in Hammersmith. Chez Maiss is the perfect destination for anyone who is looking to grab a bite to eat and a couple of drinks with friends or a partner after a long day at the office. Here are some reasons why you need to visit.

The menu is globally inspired

Expect breakfast, lunch and a fresh menu for vegetarians. There really is something for everyone at Chez Maiss. The food is fresh and vibrant, made on site, with French and Eastern European influences. Some of the dishes on their menu include Lime and Prawn Risotto, Truffle Pasta and Kidney Bean Curry. Their offering is extremely eclectic with a whole host of different flavours.

There are lots of lunch and dinner items with snacks, sharers and larger dishes to choose from.

Their wine collection is to die for

There’s no denying that Chez Maiss’s speciality is wine. I was lucky enough to sample the wine menu at the restaurant’s launch last month and I can honestly say that their wine is earthy, elegant and delicious. The rose was definitely a favourite for my cousin and I. The selection is diverse and you can expect to see wines from all over the world on the menu so there’s something for every taste. Chez Maiss will also be holding wine events in their tasting space, so do get in touch with them if you are a wine enthusiast.

The atmosphere is vibrant

Atmosphere is important when choosing where to dine, and Chez Maiss does not disappoint. The lighting is just right, the tables are positioned beautifully and the Chez Maiss logo, adorned with flowers, hangs on the wall at the back of the restaurant – a great spot for those Instagram pics! It’s all very unique and there’s never a dull moment. I would definitely visit Chez Maiss again. It’s the perfect destination for a lovely afternoon out with the girls.

For more information about this restaurant visit their website.

As always, I love to hear from you all so if you’ve been to a new restaurant recently, please feel free to share your experiences.

The biggest takeaway from The Polygamist so far is that if he’s left you before, he will leave you again. No comfort or peace can possibly be found with a man who has a pattern of leaving his family and going back to them. God’s strength to any woman with a Jonasi in their lives.

Watching #TheUltimatum and all I can say is that I’m ready for the French and South African versions to return. Like Love Is Blind, the U.S version has had its day.

It used to be Sana Jardin - Tiger By Her Side but the brand closed down. Not sure what’s going to be my go-to now. Currently wearing Nishane’s Thorns Become Roses, which is quite nice.
